The purpose of “A Place to Grow” – Child Guidance Center, Inc. is to provide a warm & loving Christian learning environment that enriches the lives of the children in our care. Our program provides a number of activities that will help better a child’s understanding and self awareness in relation to the world around them. Our goal is to assist the child in becoming a well-adjusted individual with a positive self image.

For your information, “A Place to Grow”- Child Guidance Center is a state licensed Christian child care center for children, ages birth-12 years old. Our center in no way, reserves the right to discriminate any applicant because of race, nationality, or creed. “A Place to Grow” was established in June 1985 by Beverly Childs in her home.

“A Place to Grow” is open Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Child care fees are due on MONDAY for that week! If fees are not paid by FRIDAY for that week, there is a $10.00 late payment fee added to your daycare fees. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. There is a $20.00 charge on all RETURNED CHECKS. After the 2nd check is insufficient, we will no longer accept your checks. Payments then must be only in cash, and in advance.

NOTE: Each year as a service to our present parents, we prepare a tax statement of the amount of child care they paid for that year. Once a family has left the daycare, there is a $5.00 charge for us to pull the records and prepare the form.

There is a late charge of $15.00 per child for every portion of 15 minutes after 6:00 p.m. There is a limit of 3 after 6:00 p.m. pick ups and then we reserve the right to dismiss your child permanently from this daycare!

Child care fee sheets are attached for individual ages. We guarantee that we will be available on all teacher in-service days, and school holiday’s with the exception of:

Good Friday  •   Memorial Day  •   July 4th  •  Labor Day  •  Thanksgiving Day  •   Friday after Thanksgiving Day  •  Christmas Eve  •  Christmas Day  •   New Year’s Day

*These are all PAID holiday’s for employees, and are NOT to be deducted from the child care fees!

NOTE: If the Pearland ISD closes schools due to bad weather (flooding, hurricanes, freezing roads, etc.) we, too, will be closed!
